Chef Brian Lavin, best known for his time at restaurants Fork & Wrench and Salt, is opening up an Italian- and Spanish-inspired restaurant in the Fleet Street space once occupied by the Brewers Hill Pub & Grill.
Named Gnocco, the restaurant draws inspiration from Lavin's trip to Italy, Spain, and Southern France with Sam White, of Foreman Wolf's Cinghiale. Fittingly, White will be coming on board at Gnocco to run the wine and cocktail program.
According to a press release, the menu will focus on seasonal ingredients and offer rare cuts of meat.
Gnocco is scheduled to open in June.
