Union Brewing To Celebrate Two-Year Anniversary

It’s hard to imagine that Union Craft Brewing has only been around for two years. Their beers are almost as ubiquitous as Natty Boh around city taps, albeit much much better. Yet on August 9th they’ll be celebrating that milestone with a party that features special beer releases, live bands, and DJ’s at the Woodberry brewery.

They’ll be releasing their second edition of Chessie, a nine-plus percent barleywine that Beer Advocate gave a 90 percent (Union released the first edition at last year's first anniversary party), will bring back Royal Farmhouse IPA, a 9 percent double IPA with Belgian leanings, and offer various unique casks of their standbys. To help keep you satiated and sober-ish, their parking lot will be turned into a food truck court, featuring Gypsy Queen Food, Kommie Pig, The Green Bowl, Darua, & El Cuervo—a solid food lineup.

The music lineup will feature the popular (for good reason) Talking Heads cover band The Psycho Killers along with DJ Boh Funk spinning soul and funk on vinyl. Tickets are $25 and include a commemorative glass & your first beer. They can be purchased online through missiontix.com. Here’s a toast from us here at Feedbag to Union for upping the beer game here in charm city. Prost.
