Johnny's announces the addition of sushi to its menu

Already known for its West Coast-inspired cuisine, Roland Park cafe Johnny's is adding sushi to its menu after 5 p.m. from Tuesday to Saturday, according to a press release.

The menu of nigiri, sashimi, and other items is being put together by chef Ron Choi, who comes to Johnny's from Los Angeles, where he worked in several restaurants after taking courses at the (apparently real thing) California Sushi Academy.

Says restaurateur Tony Foreman: "It's such a natural fit and complement to what we're doing. Sushi is something we should have been doing all along."
