ON THE BOWERY Lionel Rogosin’s recently revived 1957 docudrama combines actors delivering lines and real demimonde denizens in its story of a man who comes to New York to seek his fortune and winds up trying to escape the titular skid row. At the Charles Theatre April 21 at 11:30 a.m and April 23 at 7 p.m.
THINK LIKE A MAN This romcom adaptation of comedian Steve Harvey’s nonfiction relationship-advice book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man boasts a sharp cast (e.g. Romany Malco) as well as an appearance by, uh, Chris Brown. Opens April 20.
TO THE ARCTIC 3D Another wildlife doc for the kids, this one featuring a mother polar bear and her cubs. In 3D, no less. Opens April 20.
