The Cabin In The Woods, Charlie Chaplin Shorts, Crazy Horse, The Tree Stooges, and Lockout

THE CABIN IN THE WOODS Writer/director Joss Whedon goes meta-horror. Fanboys and -girls everywhere are adrool. Opens April 13.

CHARLIE CHAPLIN SHORTS The Charles Revival Series presents three more classic silent comedy titles from the master: “The Idle Class,” “Payday,” and “The Pilgrim.” At the Charles Theatre April 14 at 11:30 a.m. and April 16 at 7 p.m.

CRAZY HORSE Venerable documentarian Frederick Wiseman turns his unblinking lens on the cabaret/nude review Le Crazy Horse de Paris. It is certainly the most visually striking and, well, naked Wiseman film we’ve seen. At the Charles Theatre April 12 at 9 p.m.

THE THREE STOOGES: THE MOVIE Chris Diamantopoulos, Will and Grace’s Sean Hayes, and Mad TV’s Will Sasso star as Moe, Larry, and Curly, respectively, in the Farrelly brothers’ reboot/possible abomination. Opens April 13.

LOCKOUT Escape From New York meets Outland starring Guy Pearce? Sure, we’re in. It’s almost summer. Opens April 13.
