The last time bear hunting was legal in Florida, Bill Clinton was president, a first-class stamp cost 29 cents and "Grumpy Old Men" was a hit at the box office. But in a meeting set for Sarasota later this month, the seven-member Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will take a final vote on whether to permit hunters once again to kill black bears in the state. The 2015 season, in October, would be the first in Florida since January 1994. In 2012, black bears were moved off the threatened list in Florida.
