  • Beer, Networking, Excellent Time

The Baltimore Network of Ensemble Theaters (BNET), a local association of small theater companies, is hosting a meet and greet for local artists from all disciplines. (The group's versatile acronym also led to the event's title, BNET: Beer, Networking, Excellent Time.) The association is sponsored by five of the most active theater companies in the city: Glass Mind Theatre Company, Single Carrot Theatre, Generous Company, Iron Crow Theatre Company, and Baltimore Rock Opera Society. According to its Facebook page, the group hopes to bring local artists together "with the aim of encouraging discussion and collaboration among the most creative minds in Baltimore." The event is open to all, and will take place at Area 405, 405 E. Oliver St., on Friday, Feb. 17, from 7-10:30 p.m. Beer and soft drinks will be available, but you'll have to dine elsewhere. (A $1 donation is suggested.)
