Why are black women less likely to report rape?

Five students reported they were sexually assaulted at Morgan State University between 2011 and 2013, according to a federally mandated crime log, the Campus Security and Fire Safety Report. But among female college students who are raped, 80 percent never report the crime, according to a 2014 U.S. Department of Justice report. The reasons vary.
