Chazz Palminteri may be a longtime Giants fan, but he's warmed up to the Ravens. When Chazz Palminteri heard that Ray Lewis was dining, with 20 friends (among them Jarret Johnson and Haloti Ngata) at Chazz: A Bronx Original, he sent Lewis this message through a manager: "Please thank Ray for coming in and tell him Chazz said he is the greatest middle linebacker from sideline to sideline that ever lived." (True.) Lewis dined on calamari fritti, a tricolore salad and pan-seared salmon. Johnson had the chicken parmigiana, Ngata the fusilloni caprese.

Island Quizine owner Donovan Murphy says that the seafood Reggae pasta with its unique Alfredo sauce is the favorite of #27 Ray Rice. We're willing to credit that Alfredo sauce with at least a few of the 2,000-plus combined receiving and rushing yards Rice accumulated this season.

It's not a sandwich, it's a Yandawich. Inspired by and named for Ravens offensive guard Marshal Yanda, the Yandawich is a take on the mammoth pork tenderloin and pickle sandwich that Yanda looks forward to on his trips back home to Iowa. That's what the folks say at Ryleigh's Oyster , who came up with the Yandawich in honor of the 315-pound, fifth-year lineman out of Cedar Rapids, a regular customer at their Federal Hill restaurant. The Yandawich subs in a corn-and-poached oyster salad for the Iowa pickle, a nice Maryland touch. And the Yandawich's stout mustard was inspired by Yanda's drink of choice says Ryleigh's owner Brian McComas.

Island Quizine owner Donovan Murphy says frequent diner Terrell Suggs loves the rack of lamb with jerk demi-glace almost as much as he enjoys forcing fumbles in critical situations.

If there's one area restaurant at least a few Ravens have really flipped for, it?s Island Quizine. Owner Donovan Murphy says it was a former Raven, Oniel Cousins, who introduced his teammates to the restaurant. Cousins is such a fan of Island Quizine that when his new team, the Cleveland Browns, came to Baltimore in December, he brought a group of his new teammates all the way to Randallstown to feast on the Jamaican cuisine of chef Garfield Sterling.

    Amy Davis, Baltimore Sun

Ray Lewis orders the jumbo crab cocktail and Caesar salad with grilled chicken when he comes to The Prime Rib. When Ray Rice comes in, he gets the large cut of the restaurant's signature prime rib. No word from our insiders on whether Lewis or Rice orders himself a "Piney."

When Ravens dine out, they generally do so along the Interstate 795 corridor, where many of the team members who live in Baltimore, part time or year round, have settled. But Ravens have been spotted in Fells Point, Federal Hill and Downtown, too, dining at some of our own favorite hometown restaurants.
