Richie Incognito is scheduled for a workout with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reported Incognito could sign immediately if all goes well Monday.

Incognito is out of work after being the central villain named in the Jonathan Martin hazing incident that overshadowed the Miami Dolphins last season. Incognito was found guilty of harassment by an NFL-appointed investigator and launched into a series of odd incidents while going without a visit as a free agent throughout the offseason.

He bashed his own Ferrari with a baseball bat, posted photos of the car on his Twitter page, and reportedly entered himself into a facility to cope with severe mental and emotional stress.

The 31-year-old would have to be cleared to return by the NFL, and a suspension is expected if he signs a contract.

Incognito was a team captain and has Pro Bowl credentials.

Head coach Lovie Smith is the antithesis of NFL problem children, but the Buccaneers are short on options at offensive guard.

Carl Nicks was released in an injury settlement and the Buccaneers list O’Neil Cousins and Jamon Meredith, signed as a street free agent last season after he was waived by the Steelers, as their starters.
