Victoria Fu: "Bubble Over Green" Saturday, Feb. 21
Through April 3, 101 W. North Ave., (410) 756-0397, contemporary.org, free. The Contemporary has been up to some exciting work since it reopened as a nomadic museum in 2013, from the illustrious guests it brought in for the CoHosts Speaker Series to the new Grit Fund grant. But since its relauch until now, the museum hasn't done much of what museums are known to do: exhibit art. At long last, the museum is taking shape within the former KAGRO building, one of the last remaining brutalist structures in Baltimore, where renowned artist Victoria Fu will transform the space into a multisensory immersion of projected video and neon installations influenced by digital images and touch-screen movement.
