The Baltimore Police Department has released the name of the man found shot in the head in his car in the 1900 block of West Lombard Street on May 1. Kenneth Andre Morris is a 40-year-old African-American man from West Baltimore’s Carroll-South Hilton neighborhood.

Sunday, May 1

3:30 p.m. A police officer was driving in the Broadway East neighborhood when he was flagged down at the corner of Hoffman and Montford avenues by a group of people, who pointed him to the alley behind the 2300 block of Hoffman. There, he found Garret Vinson Jr., a 16-year-old African-American boy from the neighborhood, lying on the ground. He had been shot several times. Vinson was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital and put on life support. He was taken off at 2:50 a.m. the next day and pronounced dead.

Thursday, May 5

1:59 p.m. Police found the body of Margo Baker, a 52-year-old African-American woman from Park Heights, behind the Cahill Recreation Center in Gwynns Falls Park. Baker was reported missing on April 27. On May 5 her son Ross Telp, an 18-year-old African-American man, confessed to police that he and his mother had gotten into a fight about him damaging her car. The fight escalated and he stabbed her repeatedly. He then dumped her body and reported her missing. Telp led the police to his mother’s body and has been arrested for her murder.

Friday, May 6

9:17 p.m. Robert Little’s son went to his father’s home in the 5300 of Sinclair Lane to check on him. When he arrived, the place looked like it had been ransacked. He found his father dead in his bedroom. Little was pronounced dead on the scene, but the cause of death has not yet been determined. Little, an African-American man who lived in Northeast Baltimore’s Frankford neighborhood, was 88 years old.
