Under Armour Speaking of boozing, UA CEO Kevin Plank's plans to launch a local whiskey distillery appear to have stalled, but it's OK, he's busy expanding the Baltimore-based athletic apparel company's operation, which should theoretically be good for the local economy. In addition to posting 31 percent revenue growth in the fourth quarter, UA bought fitness technology company MyFitnessPal, prompting speculation of a move into the tech sector--which is probably more profitable than craft distilling anyway.
