The flu can strike people starting in October, so Maryland health officials are rolling out their flu vaccine clinics. People can also get flu shots at most pharmacies, doctors’ offices and sometimes at work. Everyone 6 months and older should get a flu vaccine each year, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. For more information on the flu, visit the CDC’s website.
