More on One World Café Johns Hopkins.

Posted 3/5/2008

Why We Go: There aren't a whole lot of places within the two-block buffer zone of cold, impersonal corporate business space around Johns Hopkins' Homewood campus with any real soul, but One World is a cozy, genuine respite with good food, good coffee, and beer. And the vegetarian menu can give any place in town a run for its money.

What We Eat: A good tempeh Reuben is like the Holy Grail of vegetarianism, and One World doesn't disappoint.

What We'd Change: The eggplant gyro runs on the slimy side. Also, with food this good, it seems like a cruel tease to keep the bar open later than the kitchen.
