Special events

Allow your senses to melt within the great, rugged walls of AREA 405 in AREA 405 Circuit, an engaging, interdisciplinary event featuring experimental electro-acoustic music, dance, and art curated by Timothy Nohe. Among the attractions at this two-day art feast are three works of choreographed movement and dance: Liquid Measure, Rd E3, and Quad Ruled. As the soul of the program, each piece of art--physical, musical, and visual--reflects its home, the 150-year-old space that has served as brewery, industrial equipment manufacturer, and window-blind plant. Even the music is inspired, as the architecture of the building will be incorporated into that medium, too. Featured choreographers include Renee Brozic Barger, Carol Hess, and Lauren Withhart.
