Dreams of baking--not that kind, stoners--and knitting and making mix CDs and repotting your plant offshoots for handmade gifts you can give for bragging rights and to save a little dough this sweet holiday season? Us too. Hurry. But we are not too ambitious to realize we need a few baubles and toys and eye candy and pieces of art in our coffers ready to wrap for when staying up late one more night to churn out another handmade gift will make us bananas--and not in a good way. AVAM's annual Bazaart bazaar features crafts and art from 50 regional talents, or what we like to call gifts one degree away from our own handmade ones. Tonight's party offers the freshest selection, plus bevies and munchies and music; tomorrow, shop 10 a.m.-5 p.m. for free but without festive lube.
