Best Bottled Juice: Gundalow

3200 James St., gundalowjuice.com

On the off chance that we ever snap and decide to go on a Gwyneth Paltrow-inspired juice cleanse, we are heading straight for Gundalow Juice and loading up on its sharp-looking bottles. This woman-run, Baltimore-based company juices fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and roots so you have time to do other things. It makes silly-named but delicious favors including the orange-tinged Oriole with pineapple, strawberry, and basil; super-green SS Veggie with apple, cucumber, celery, kale of course, romaine, spinach, and lemon; The Hon with pineapple, honeydew melon, blackberry, lemon, and ginger; and our fave, Watermelon Waves, a barely-sweet watermelon juice with bright lime and mint. Gundalow also delivers (for a fee) and sells three-day cleansing packages with a mix of six or seven bottles per day. But until we cleanse-commit, it’s merely a post-run Gundalow for us.
