Watching "A Charlie Brown Christmas" to fall asleep

I often have trouble sleeping, and it's nothing noble or special, just some standard worry, anxiety, grief, and loss that keep me up at night. There are a few things I do to deal; like, I think I've bought more sweatpants over the last year than I had previously owned in my whole life. And I like to make my bed feel like a well-lived-in nest, piled high with pillows and blankets. I've also taken to playing "A Charlie Brown Christmas" on my laptop when I can't fall asleep. It was never a huge part of my childhood traditions, but I did occasionally watch the classic 1965 cartoon on TV as a kid. And today, I don't relate to the whole "reason for the season" (Jesus) message that the special promotes, though maybe, as a kid, I used to. I can't quite put my finger on it, but anyways, I'm usually asleep by the second or third time the Vince Guaraldi Trio's "Christmastime Is Here" interlude plays. (Rebekah Kirkman)
